At USC, I taught Consumer Behavior for undergraduates in the Fall, 2019. Due to social distancing requirements, I received extensive trainings to teach my course using Zoom and Blackboard.
I believe teaching should be centered at the intersection of marketing theory and practice. My overall teaching philosophy is to teach my students key concepts and theory in marketing and consumer behavior. At the same time, I put emphasis to bring these concepts to life by focusing on real marketing problems and potential solutions. My ultimate goal is to equip my students with the knowledge of marketing theory as well as the necessary skills to apply this theory to practice. Appreciation of behavioral insights is at the core of any discipline. I am hoping to infuse this understanding to many students in the future.
The syllabus for my class can be found in the link below.
